Walking & Cycling Routes in Killarney
Set amongst 26,000 acres of Killarney National Park, with its well-known Lakes of Killarney and magnificent mountain ranges, walking and cycling enthusiasts will have an endless choice of routes from which to choose.

The Fossa Way – commence at the Golden Gates (100m from The International) and travel through the National Park and on as far as the small village of Fossa. This route, with a newly surfaced and widened roadway, affords the cyclist or walker magnificent views of the Killarney’s lakes and mountains from a high point near Cnoc na Rí.

Guides are available for many of the walks and climbing routes and, given notice, we are happy to assist with arranging outings for guests. Many of the walking routes are also ideal for cycling. Whether you bring your own bike or hire from the numerous bike-hire providers in Killarney, you will be spoilt for choice of routes and options. We are happy to provide picnic lunches for your outing – please order the night before so that we can have them ready before your day.
