At The International Hotel, we want to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Dining & Food
Our breakfast menu caters to all tastes and dietary preferences, with options for coeliacs, vegetarians, and vegans.
We offer a wide selection of freshly prepared favourites from our kitchen, including our renowned Full Irish Breakfast.
For something lighter, choose from fresh pastries, artisan breads, yoghurts, fruits, and a variety of cereals—all complemented by freshly brewed tea or coffee.
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30am to 10:00am, with extended hours until 10:30am on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Breakfast may be included in your room rate. If not, it can be added for €15 per person per day.
Non-residents are also welcome to join us for breakfast at the same rate.

- Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10am on Monday to Friday & until 10:30am on weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Brunch is served daily from 10am to noon.
- Lunch is served from 12 noon to 4:45pm.
- Dinner is served from 5pm to 9pm and & until 9:30pm on Saturdays.
Yes, Hannigans Bar & Restaurant is the award-winning restaurant of the International Hotel Killarney, where you’ll enjoy friendly hospitality and delicious food made with the very best local and international produce.
Experience a relaxed and informal setting every day of the week — from brunch and lunch to dinner.
Yes, as a guest of the hotel, you are welcome to use the residents’ bar, even if you are not dining.

Rooms & Amenities
All our rooms are equipped with pillow-top mattress, Egyptian Cotton bedding, 32″ TV, complimentary fast Wi-Fi, cooling fan, safety deposit box, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), shower or bathtub.
No, we do not have rooms with balconies.
We do, however, provide front-facing rooms, some of which have a partial view of the National Park and mountains and the renowned Jaunting Cars. These rooms are available upon request by contacting our team at reservations@killarneyinternational.com or by calling +353 (0) 64 663 1816.
The hotel offers laundry and dry cleaning services at an additional cost.
Laundry bags are provided in the room, and a completed laundry list must accompany them. Laundry must be brought to reception before 8 am for same-day service to ensure it is returned to your room by 7 pm.
For normal laundry (all items will be washed, dried and folded together), a large laundry bag is €25 per bag.

The closest self-service laundry machines are located in Park Road, near McDonals, 750 m away from the hotel, a 3 minutes away drive or a 10 minute walking distance.
We have two elevators in the hotel.
- The main lift is accessible from the reception level and serves the first and second floors.
- A second lift connects the first and second floors to the third floor.
Both lifts are suitable for standard wheelchairs, and our team is available to provide assistance if needed. However some walking may still be required to reach some rooms.

Due to the age and traditional layout of the hotel, our selection of accessible rooms is limited and accessibility features may vary between them.
We do offer a selection of guest rooms and facilities that can be accessed without steps or with the support of a portable ramp.
These rooms mainly feature standard furnishings inside.
If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact us directly so we can recommend the most suitable room options and access routes.
We do not have a fitness or leisure centre at the International Hotel.
The Coral, the main sports and leisure club in Killarney, is a 6-minute drive from the hotel and provides comprehensive fitness amenities.
Please note that The International Hotel is not affiliated with this facility, so a fee will apply.
The International Hotel does not have spa facilities on-site, but there are nearby options in the town centre. Please check directly with us for more information.
We do not have leisure facilities or swimming pool at the International Hotel.

We provide baby cots (cribs) to our guests traveling with babies.
Please request a cot at the time of making your reservation. These are free of charge.
We do not offer babysitting or childcare services here at the International Hotel.
Children between 3 and 12 years old will pay a €30 supplement per night.
Please note that this supplement is already included when booking a family room.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in time is from 3pm, and the check-out is until 12 noon.
Early check-in and late check-out times are subject to availability and must be arranged with a member of our team, who will give further information.
We are happy to store your luggage should you arrive early or after check-out.
Yes, late check-out is available at an additional cost, is subject to availability, and must be arranged with a member of our team.
Location & Transport
The International Hotel Killarney is located in the town centre, just 350 metres, a 5-minute walk, from the Killarney Tourist Office.
We are located in the heart of Killarney Town and do not have private parking.
There are several car parks all within a 3-minute walk of the hotel – The Glebe, The Fair Hill and the New Street car parks, which are very reasonably priced at approximately €8.00 per day, Monday to Saturday, from 9.00am to 5.30pm, Sundays & Bank Holidays are free. Lewis Road car park is €3 per 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, with Sundays & Bank Holidays free as well.
Cars are permitted to park overnight free of charge.
We are located a mere 220m from the Train Station and only 400m from the Bus Station.
Policies & Payment
When you book directly with us, whether by phone, email, or through our website, you can cancel or amend your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before your arrival.
This will allow you to book with peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that you have full flexibility.
In the event of the International Hotel Killarney not being notified of a cancellation within this timeframe, the first night’s accommodation will automatically be charged to the credit or debit card used to secure your reservation.
Please note this does not apply to Offers such as “Advance Purchase”, where prepayment is required; or other offers where you are receiving a discount at the time of booking to lock in your date and the rate is clearly shown as non refundable or changeable in the Terms and Conditions. This can also apply to certain Third Party partner bookings with a longer cancellation policy.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Diners, and American Express.

We love pets, but unfortunately, we only accommodate service dogs.

Killarney National Park, Ross Castle, and Muckross House & Gardens are right on our doorstep, offering a taste of the legendary Kingdom experience, and just a short drive away, the Gap of Dunloe, Tomies Woods and Torc Waterfall will provide you with magnificent views.
Cascading waterfalls, breath-taking mountains, wild Atlantic waters, picturesque lakes, endless golden beaches, lush green golf courses, and charming villages, you will never want to leave once you discover the Kingdom of Kerry and all her beauty.
You can enjoy our welcoming communal areas, such as the Christy O’Connor Lounge, where you can relax while surrounded by memorabilia of golfing legend Christy O’Connor Junior, or the Library, a peaceful spot to unwind and watch the world go by.
Hannigan’s, our award-winning restaurant, offers warm hospitality and exquisite dishes crafted with the finest local and international produce. In the Summer months, you can also savour a refreshing drink on our balcony or enjoy a delightful meal on our outdoor terrace.
