The Liam O'Connor performance is a spectacular explosion of music, song and dance rooted in the Irish music tradition - a spellbinding display of raw energy, passion and melodic genius. Liam O'Connor is an internationally renowned musician of 20 instruments and his spirit will swiftly sweep across your soul as the enchanting melodies are executed from his 'fastest fingers in the world' (Guinness Book of Records 2008).

The show recommences in the Summer months.

Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2015

 
The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, is the biggest one-day charity fundraising event in Munster, attracting thousands of leisure cyclists who will experience a fun and rewarding day’s cycling, completing 112 miles of the spectacular Ring of Kerry, while at the same time fundraising for a host of worthy Charities.

GAA Munster Football Final ~ Kerry vs Cork (Fitzgerald Stadium)


Experience the thrill and excitement of the Munster Football Final which pits the mighty Kerry up against their fierce next door neighbours and rivals Cork. An occasion not to be missed by two of the best Footballing teams in the Country. Come the end of the day, will the Kingdom of Kerry be declared the Munster Champions, or will the Rebels of Cork come down to enemy terrority to spoil the party? The game will be preceded by the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Football Championship Final between Kerry and Tipperary at 12 noon.

Killarney July Racing Festival

 
Killarney's July Racing Festival is one of the highlights of the summer racing season. The festival takes place over 4 days in July. Thousands attend the July races each year with the festival kicking off on Monday evening with Family Evening. Tuesday and Wednesday are also evening meetings with great racing promised. Thursday 16th of July is Ladies Day where the coveted title Queen of Fashion is awarded.

Run Killarney Marathon

The Run Killarney Marathon is returning once again this year and will be taking place on Saturday 18th July. This is a professionally run event organised by Elite Event Management and every effort will be made to ensure that all the competitors are well looked after. Participants will experience the breathtaking views of the Lakes of Killarney, Killarney National Park, Muckross House and the Ring of Kerry. Choice of three exciting routes: Full Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K. The races are open to everyone, at all levels of running experience and fitness. Walkers, newcomers and people who just want a challenge and a great, fun day out are also gladly welcome to participate in the event.

FolkFest Killarney

FolkFest Killarney at the INEC will be Ireland’s largest celebration of folk music from Ireland and beyond, bursting forth from four different stages over three thrilling days.
  
Get those dancing shoes ready and enjoy the traditional Irish atmosphere, folk-music and craic as FolkFest Killarney extends its desire to keep spirits high from dusk till dawn.

Killarney August Racing Festival

 
Killarney's August Racing Festival takes place over 4 days in August, commencing on Wednesday 19th August. Wednesday to Friday are all evening meetings with Saturday being an afternoon meeting as well as incorporating Ladies Day.
  
The Festival features the very best of festival racing, the Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes on the opening day of the festival always attracts some great runners. Over the four days racing the festivals offers a prize fund of nearly €400,000.

Long Distance Triathlon

Test your fitness levels to the limit on the most amazing triathlon course in Ireland. A 3.8km swim on the beautiful Lakes of Killarney is followed by a 180km bike ride on the fabulous Ring of Kerry and then a 42.2km run in the Knockreer Demesne in Killarney National Park.

Killarney Adventure Race - October 2015

The Killarney Adventure Race is a one day multi-adventure sport race that gives competitors the chance to run, hike, cycle and kayak some of the most beautiful and stunning scenery in the south-west of Ireland. There are 3 different routes options to suit all levels of fitness:70km, 60km & 27km and participants can enter either as an individual or as a 2/3/4 person relay team.
